That is very kind Mike and from the attached route plan you can see we are passing very close to Dijon and I gather you are some 40 minutes south-west! It would certainly be very nice to see you, either just us, or otherwise can your drive accommodate all twenty cars?! With regards, Matthew T.

Hopefully it will be. Would be nice. Should know more next month hopefully then I can get a good idea of what's in store.

I rather suspect that the route that has been plotted for Friday 9th passes within 20 metres of our front door (it does't add much time if it wasn't). If you like we could do lunch at a little brasserie in town where my friend is the chef.

If you can spare another hour or two, then there are some other sights around town that you might find interesting. Any reasonable numbers can be accommodated.

I'm taking part in the trip this year as well :)

I won't be in an XM though, I've thought about taking my CX but I don't think I'm brave enough so I'm taking my V6 Activa for a good blast! Really looking forward to it now, it should be a great trip :)

I'm taking the challenge this year with one of MTXM's previous stable so in good hands. Gotta say I'm feeling a lot more comfortable about going on the trip knowing Matthews going out there.

On the Friday of the challenge (starting at Bourg-en-Bresse), you will be passing within 25 metres of our front door in Beaune, as it is on the most obvious routes to Savigny-les-Beaune.

You are welcome to drop in and say hello, or we could do lunch at a local bistro, before you head off the the Chateau at Savigny.
