Re: XM Clearout
Hi Rob,
I've honestly got no idea on value. Only one online for sale is £160, but I don't know if it the same spec/size/type as mine. And obviously that one is new.

Re: XM Clearout
And has not sold at that price despite being on ebay for at least 3 years.
As a guide a new XM Teves sensor is £40 to £60 and while not a perfect replacement electrically can be used on a Bendix ABS system.
To my knowledge secondhand Bendix sensors though rare have changed hands for £25 to £30 delivered in recent times.

Re: XM Clearout
Fair enough, though if a brand-new Teves one can be used, why the interest in a used Bendix one at a similar price?

Re: XM Clearout
Have added the XM Teves sensor price range instead of just the minimum.
Teves rear sensors are getting rare now and are standard (low) resistance.
The later high resistance Bendix sensors were introduced because the Bendix ABS ECU's needed very good signals.
Fitting a Teves sensors to a Bendix ABS will perform well enough to get the car through MOT's.
It may occasionally throw a fault code that an ignition restart will clear.
Many of these sensors even if NOS were manufactured a good few years ago.
In use or boxed on the shelf they will have aged which may affect working life.
The ebay new Bendix one is a front so not so rare.
I am sorry if you feel I am trying to reduce the price you can get.
I was just trying to provide background as to why I think the ebay Bendix item is way overpriced.

Re: XM Clearout
I wasn't having a dig, it was genuine curiosity.
Seemed a big disparity from even a fanciful £160 new to £25 used value.
I know I had to pay a lot more than £25 to get it (bought it from France)

Re: XM Clearout
Do you still have the Clarion radio.
Also would you possibly have a speedo or instrument cluster.
Thanks
