Sunroof cassettes

Any G reg model bar sed or sei should have the aftermarket fitted unit as sed or sei had them as standard in uk only base and i or base d or sd being without

Not quite every 'G' reg. car Paul as my 12v auto has a factory sunroof! I also thought even early UK 'i' and 'd' spec cars had sunroofs and they were only omitted on late S2?

I think all very early UK cars had post factory sunroofs Will regardless of spec and all my cars are 'se' or equivalent Paul! With regards, Matthew T.

So then Mathew as they are SE they will have factory sunroofs then and not aftermarket.. as i said above. Its only base i and si models that got the after market roofs and different head linings..

I have seen aftermarket sunroofs in two very early 'G' reg. 2.0sei Paul and I think Mark & Jacquis' olympic blue 3.0sei also had one! As I recall Citroen UK thought the XM would not sell without a sunroof here and they were retro fitted across the range. Regards, Matthew T.

That was my understanding that all early UK cars had aftermarket sunroofs fitted.

My G reg SED has a standard sunroof, made 13th March 1990
