Been a while since I asked this so revisiting it now. I need a flip key,the one with the big citroen logo button in the middle and the matching receiver. I know they are a rare thing but I live in hope. I would buy a non working key so long as it has the receiver with the same number on the sticker with it. I have bought a few of these keys so have spare parts to repair a broken one. Willing to pay a very good price!
Thanks.

Re: Wanted: S1 XM flip key and receiver
There are two different versions of the Mk1 IR plip set.
It is not possible to make up mixed early and late Mk1 sets.
Plip case is the same for both versions.
The early type are hard coded and require matched sets.
I have not found a way to decode the hard wiring on the early sets.
I may have a matching plip and receiver.
A better bet though is the later type which are self learning and sets can be made up by point and press.
The IR system on these later ones is common to many similar age cars.
For example Xantia IR plips can be coded to work with a later XM IR receiver.
I have previously made up mixed two plip sets of these later IR systems.
The XM plip kept best for show use and the Xantia plip for general use.
Good while ago and I cannot now remember who wanted it.
Somewhere in the roof there is a box or two of recovered IR plip bits.
If I remember right there may even be a NOS Xantia plip set.
There are also some plip pin sets as these are common to all XM plips and early Xantia ones.
Not sure if I still have any uncut plip key blades left for a second plip though.
PM me if you think I can help.
John
