Which is your favorite car?
Hi,
I am really happy after making this thread because I want to know which ca is favorite in the world. My favorite car is Ferrari 512 TR and Mercedes-Benz E-class.
This is my favorite but I want to know about yours.

Lancia Stratos
Ferrari 512 BB
Aston DB9
Range Rover Autobiography
Citroen Sm...

Citroen CX GTi T2
Got to be a GS 1222 then, best as well as first car I ever bought. In fanta Orange!!

Re: Which is your favorite car?
Witout doubt the XM 2.1 manual estate, what other car can match it? Some are faster, some are better looking but for all round practicality you can't beat it. What other car has the combination of ride comfort, space, self levelling suspension, durability, a potential 50+ mpg and you can repair yourself? Name one

You know full well what I'm going to say Peter! What other car has the combination of ride comfort, space, self levelling suspension,
durability, a potential 50+ mpg and you can repair yourself? Name one

My Cx DTR T2 estate/saloons are still around so they're durable and match or even
better the other considerations and now Xm's are starting to rot (all be it slowly)
that's no edge over the Cx either. At least it's the Xm's father so to speak!

Re: Which is your favorite car?
Sorry, I didn't think
My Mk2 CX25 DTR Turbo Safari was the best car I have ever had, it was actually bigger inside than the XM, I will forgive it the useless heater, handbrake and being to high geared in first, but I did cover over 150,000 miles in it which is more than I have done in any other car. I was thinking more along the lines of modern cars. I wouldn't mind another CX, preferably the Turbo 2 version, if I could find one good and cheap enough

Re: Which is your favorite car?
My first car was a 1936 Morris 8 matchbox, it didn't last the year and I traded it for a 1946 2.4 Jaguar with big knock on/off nuts on the wheels,
THAT was some car! No brakes and did about 90MPH.
after that I had over many years eleven Jags, Mk2's one Mk9 and even one with a diesel engine fitted, the last was a 2.4 model 420 which I did like.
I then had an ex army Land Rover with a canvas top! but one day I discovered the Citroens. Two BX's then an XM saloon wth really duff electrics that I couldn't fix, but for the last 13 years I've had a love/hate relationship with my 2.1 TD XM Estate and I'm trying my damdest to keep it running!
So the XM 2.1 Estate with manual box has to be my favourite with all it's little? faults. Like my wife, it's a DEAR little thing!
Bob.
