ok -its not an xm....not even a citroen...but it is french -and rare! looks to be original 403 convertible...along with another 403. a couple of renaults and a pug 203.....The shed owner has my contact details for when the owner appears!

A nice find. I wonder if the current owner is ready to part with it? The white registration plate is New Zealand from 1987 (but that may not be the first NZ registration plate it had), the black one looks like Northern Ireland, prior to 1973. It would be interesting to see the condition of the underside, as these did rust.

Looks in quite good nick, would be interested to see what's under the grime. Is that like the one Columbo had? Not seen one here, used to have a 404 though many years ago.

Peter Falk drove a 1959 403 cabriolet.
In 1971 I bought a 4-door 1958 403, dark blue with leather upholstery and a crank operated sunroof, for peanuts. The owner had got himself a 404. Lovely car, that 403. Must have a photo somewhere, but after all this is the XM forum :D
