Younger sister

Post by Lwdajo » Sat Jul 13, 2019 7:12 pm

Hi All,

My 1994 2.1TD VSX now has a younger sister: 1998 2.1TD Exc. R427 DGC, VF7Y4RN0000RN0433, both autos in emerald green, both recently MOT'd. Bought as spares, but decided to put it back on the road.

Snag list for R427 DGC:
Slight O/S front fluid leak around strut.
Gear lever handle in pieces.
Front window motors need replacing (previously removed for rewinding).
O/S rear door badly scratched by some idiot.
Couple of minor dents.
Too dirty to tell how bad paintwork actually is.
Aircon not working, maybe condensor.

List will grow as investigations continue.

Finally got my electric armrest and alcantara interior (bit tatty with age).

That's the way it normally happens.

Single Xm ownership is the road to ruin...

I'm not aiming to overtake you though Will, I'll admit defeat on that one now!
