engine mount identification

Post by Dean » Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:13 pm

I have a rear engine mount from a 4 cyl petrol engine with the part number stamped as 9615834110, would anyone be able to tell me what it fits? i know the mount design was changed to move the rubber buffer bush for some reason and to move the location of the driveshaft support bearing between auto and manual but not sure which variant the one i have is, i would like it to fit a Y4 TCT Auto...

Many Thanks

There are problems with service.citroen at the moment. Am unable to log on to check that part no.

If you google 'citroen 9615834110' (images) a good few vehicle links come up.
Looks like 2.1TD S1 & S2.

I did google it and the photo's of a second hand unit for sale stating it was from a 2.1td appeared, this is not the full story however as i have never broken a 2.1td, so it is either compatible with other engines like the TCT Auto, or TCT manual that i have broken, but not sure on the gearbox you see

Thanks Chris

The p/n 9615834110 is the csting part number, but not orderable under that number.

For 2.0i, 2.0 turbo and 2.1TD manual the p/n is 1087A2,
for 2.0i, 2.0 turbo and 2.1TD Auto the p/n is 1807A3.

I believe you have the one for a manual gearbox.

iirc, the bearing recess is deeper on the manual gearbox type. I have an auto type, which I can look the casting p/n up tomorrow.

Can be confusing, where 96....... etc numbers are used as manufacturing codes, but similar numbers were also were used as old-type parts codes.
The Citroen Private Cars booklets warn that numbers printed on spheres should not be used as part re-order numbers.
