Window glass black plastic clips.

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Window glass black plastic clips.

Post by rosspa » Tue Sep 24, 2019 1:00 pm

Hi, Has anybody have a couple of door glass to runner retaining clips or know where I can get some? When changing rear doors shells, I must have put them somewhere 'safe' and now cannot find them.
Thanks.

Are you after the complete plastic block that runs up and down the metal track, or just the C-clip (that is usually attached by a thin flexible strap) ?

Hi Chis, it is not that part, but the complete black plastic block ( about 2x1x1cm) ot the rear edge of the glass which keeps the glass parallel in the runners in door frame.

Hi Chris , Would be item 7 on both diagrams. Next item on the list in both item number lists (can't see). Not sure if front and rear are the same, or left and right. Suspect that they are all the same. I am missing lh and rh rear.

They are all the same, the drawing makes them look more complex than they actually are.
I will have a few spares but no idea where to look for them.

I would be very greatful if I could buy a couple of the clips. I've hunted high and low but cannot find mine. I do have a pair of bare emerald green rear doors in fair condition for free to take away. Some corrosion in vicinity of lower window to door seal, otherwise solid. Shame to chuck them.
