XM Parts Book

Post by citroenfa » Thu Feb 13, 2020 3:22 pm

Was wondering if there is a site where one can download a Series 1 Parts Book. I did go the Peugeot site ( http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com ) but XM no longer listed.

Parts 'book' not available, but if you register on servicebox (if not already done so) (Independent Repairer is usually the best option), you can
- hit Citroen Parts, and select XM (= S1) or XMII (= S2), and go from there
- input your VIN (and OK), and that will take you directly to items for the car.
'Characteristics' will throw up the ex-factory build details for the car - can be a bit brief for S1, though.

- in Search, entering a part number will take you to that parts diagram/list. If you hit Run search on other vehicles (or however it's worded), system will show you all (Citroen) vehicles that the part was also used on.

Part numbers are the same for both Citroen and Peugeot parts, so you can look at/search Pug parts/cars.

Shout if stuck.

Have you tried http://service.citroen.com ?

Note that the site restricts access (totally or per brand) according to the country that your ip address geo-locates to. Your account is also locked to the country you registered from. I move countries quite frequently and it is a real pain. You may have to use a UK VPN to get the access that you need.

You were in the right place with this.
Hit Registration, and register as Independent Repairer (or whatever it is now).
You cannot get full access if you opt for Owner, so don't go down that route.

As Mike says, works if you stick to using the system within one country, or fudge it.
PSA are very protective about accounts wandering off-patch, or being hijacked.

Thanks for the info - will be of a great help. As one can imagine - here in the US one does not trot on down to the local Autozone and find XM parts in stock :) - or for that matter just about anywhere in the US with one possible exception.
