Get that zf4hp20 serviced to. They do fail and suffer with lack of service even though they say sealed for life rubbish.. Do not use dex2 either in it. Can't remember the exact fluid but it's not dex..

Yes, I must find someone who can check the transmission. The spare became a spare because the transmission died. Of course the timing belt will probably need to be replaced too. But even that cost I reckon I will still be ahead.

I noticed that...the Holy Grail interior.

Emerald exterior is a nice colour too. If you need paint, the paint code will be either on the L/h strut area. It Should Be ERY.

To the O/p. The chrome rubbing strip inserts don't appear to have any actual corrosion, which appears as a white, cloudy, bubbly, substrate under the acrylic. What has happened on yours is the acrylic outer layer has suffered UV damage, which can be wet sanded off and polished back to life.

Paint code stayed under the passenger headlight on the chassis leg under the dirt forward of the air cleaner box did it not.. Unless the rp is on the white A post sticker.. Drivers door shut..

Paint codes moved to the strut tower for 97-98, then the door sticker in '99.
