Chris, I was not sure it was possible to fill such a large hole with filler, must of taken a lot of commitment

Is there a lot of work to do in the accommodation area?

I need to finish off trimming a few fiddly bits of carpet, got to find a new gas valve for the oven as I snapped it off while working in there, I want to board out the shower room with some panelling and the wife wants all the cupboards vinyl wrapped in white, I also want to fit some grey leather captains chairs in place of the collapsed standard cloth ones, Kia seats come with arm rests and heated grey leather, they are also very cheap but I am waiting for some to turn up near me, im sure there will be lots of other bits to fettle about with to keep me occupied for years to come

Not been much going on lately, and now there will not be, we have been classed as key workers and pretty busy.
Long story short I got given a camper van by a customer, which was very nice, the cam belt snapped during one of its biannual start ups (covered less than 1000km in 12 years ) and the habitation has rotted out due to years of water ingress but had 4 new tyres on alloy wheels and many other useable parts to be harvested including a cover, awning, never used drive away awning, fridge, heater blower etc etc

The XM has a couple of small niggles but one is sorted and I now have stable front ride height, the other is air ingress to the hydraulic pump but it shall be resolved, still like driving it and use it a fair bit.

The Dampervan is behaving well, continuing upgrades and general fiddling will continue and it now sports a set of alloy wheels of larger diameter with new larger sidewall tyres donating by the donated van which have turned the wildly optimistic speedo into an accurate and useable device. Next job is a clutch and new input shaft bearings in the gearbox plus finishing the cab rebuild by welding some bottoms onto the doors

Ventilation is good in camper van door bottoms...lets any leaking propane and carbon monoxide out.

Looking at the new camper, I'd say you were robbed.
