As you have moved from France, it is worth asking if it is a LHD or RHD car?

The car is LHD, so no bell-crank.

I think a hydraulics flush will fix the issue.

It's easy to do. With the car at the lowest height empty the hydraulic reservoir and clean it out, clean the filters, fill with Hydrarincage, drive for 3000 miles, drain and fill with new LHM.
To ensure the flush has reached the brake calipers, bleed the brakes.

The flush is available from other sources.

Flushing hydraulic systems is common practice in industrial applications, so flushing oils should be available from hydraulic oil suppliers.

Worth reading.

Here is WhiteExec's original post regarding Hydraflush at Citroen dealers. There is no guarantee that Citroen dealers in the UK can obtain this via the UK concessionaire.

Just for info, this is Citroen's part no. for Total Hydraurincage, 5-litre
11350 01 Hydraulic suspension/steering fluid
...further described in Parts as System Cleaning, Total Hydraurincage

Might help with Cit parts counters that claim not to have heard of it, or that it can't be found.

Thanks for that Chris - very comprehensive.
Will print off this great advice and bring in with me on Friday. Car booked into Salters in Devon as recommended. Will update here when sorted out. Thanks again.

Good to see a UK stockist of it, even if top price. Not easy to find these days.

I suspect it is similar to most other mineral based flushing oils, which are often kerosene based and widely available.

It's LHM with some added solvents.
Total's MSDS sheet has the composition.
