You can buy a servo kit for £10 so you can have a remote boot pop function, i thought this is what George was talking about???

Hi Dean, no I meant taping somewhere in the boot lock's wiring, and John has corrected me, thanks J. Why would u want an additional servo at the boot lock if there's already one? (am I missing smthing?)

If you use diode connections in the rear boot feed you could make it work both as part of the main central locking and as a seperate item off the plip boot button. I used the same diode system to get more than two plip systems working on a single car.

G, you can get a servo set that operates the boot catch so when you press the boot symbol on the remote the boot both unlocks and opens so all you have to do is lift it up, kind of pointless on the xm as you would never want to rmove the exterior handle for asthetic reasons because its hidden fromm view anyway.
