Sounds like my garage where, to get a picture of things, I restored bicycles and mopeds, a Traction Avant and DS and a Mazda Rotary Coupe and, oh, a VW Beetle, maintained a multitude of vehicles including my most recent XM and used it as a general storage facility as well.

Your pictures look nice. But something is missing. Where are the piles of boxes with parts, the one hundred spray cans (I have), the trolleys, the engine hoist - I could go on :?: Oh, you still have another garage, of course :D

the cans are behind me on a shelf, the ramps and engine hoist is being borrowed at the moment by my Dad and i have been given a room at work for all the xm body panels/subframes/trim bits and lights so they dont clutter my workspace, lucky really otherwise i would have a full shed before i had even started

I normally keep two cars in the garage but with working on the XM there were bits everywhere and tools and jacks, etc so I couldn't get any cars in at all.

I had to have a tidy up as it was getting ridiculous trying to walk around. The final straw was kicking over a bucket of LHM...

Were thinking of shifting soon.... And the only house I'll even agree to look at must have a "workshop" of at least 12 x 12metres ..... plus other sheds to store cars/trailers/junk in    I've struggled for years with a tiny, weeny single car garage. I'll take some piccies if you want to see spray tins, junk piles, and a shed that can barely fit a car inside to work on  :(

There's some really interesting piccies over on the CX forum of people old workshops (some being hundreds of years old) in the UK .... Why don't you guys post some piccies :)

Your going about this the wrong way, buy a good caravan and stick it in the garden for the family and take the front windows out of the house, replace them with garage doors and your sorted ;)

It was at that point you realised you might need to learn to cook....
