XM Exclusive

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

XM Exclusive

Post by ds21 » Fri Jul 23, 2010 8:16 am

Hi, I`ve got to cut down on cars so one of the first to go will be an M reg 2.1 Exclussive. Most useful bits have been used but it has a fairly nice black/grey cloth interior, which I thought might be a good replacement for the usually tired half leather seats (or upgrade?).
Let me know if you`re interseted or need anything else.
Cheers

Hi, I`m near Dursley (Glos) the car is dark metallic green and the seats are black outer (alcantara - I think) with very small grey/black check - early exclusive.
I`ll try and get some pictures.
Cheers

I'm in Gloucester but work in Minchinhampton. Bummer is that I am due to go on holiday end of next week and fear I am going to have to drag another XM home next week too.

Andrew, it does mean I could store some bits for you until you can get over from S Wales as Dursley is ten miles or so from here.

I know Dursely - had to take a very ill Boxer dog to the surgery vets place there. :(

I was hoping for nice maroon s2 body panels - heyho...

I DO really fancy the black/grey/white (Alacantra or whatever) and have seen them pictured in
Paul Minijet's car - far nicer than the 1/2 & 1/2 in my N plated Black 2.5 Exclusive. I'm pretty
sold on the idea of this as an improvement. ds21 please pm me some idea of beer tokens!?

Campbell - thanks for your very thoughtful offer. How far does that green "other car" have to
travel to get to yours then? Couldn't it be booked for your MOT place 'next door' rather than
be 'dragged'?

Andrew, 'dragged' is a euphemism for going there with the battery off the motorhome, bleeding the fuel line and starting the thing, then driving it the four miles home, having insured it for the day on a day insurance policy and booking it in for an MoT, of course.

My challenge is having to ready the motorhome for a ten day trip to France in amongst work and everything else. ;-)

I too could be interested in the seats (and some other suff) if they are still available. Could make it up from Bristol some time next week. Could also do with an LHM pump if it is 6+2.
