Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Looks a bit dodgy to me as I'm sure some of those pictures are taken at Savoy Garage....which is a long way from Dorset.

Could be totally innocent - I bet you have the ebay pictures on your PC of that car you bought
recently and may believe they look nicer than ones you could take now?

Then again, maybe it's his favourite garage and the only one he can trust so it gets serviced
every year there with a trip built in around the tramp up from Dorchester - something
I'm used to seeing in my family...

Anyhow, lot of car for the money really (and nothing to 'do' with me!)

Ha ha. I've just looked and do have some pics from the advert, or to be more precise I have thumbnail pics..they are tiny.

The original pics of the car in the advert looked like advert pictures and what I was more concerned with was whether the Ebay advert was legitimate or a copy of a savoy advert.

I thought Savoy too when I saw this earlier, then the picture of the car at a house made me think it was coincidence.

The next question is, will it be going to Winchester to live?

Robert

Right year, wrong car, not been ringing that phone number.
I have to admit that I did think about adding it to my garden ornament collection in Petersfield.
Decided that the residual tax and MOT were worth just short of £100.
Throw in my standard value that a 2.5 must have £300 worth of spares.
That makes it 4 months cost free motoring.
Just as well I have most of the bits it would eventually supply and that I rather dislike dark blue XM's.

At £400, it could be a cheap big estate for Peter to use! You can't loose at that money. Drive it for a year, and weigh it in. Cheap motoring.
