Does anyone have one of these

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

I think this part is a STANDARD clutch part for ALL manual models due to the angle of the operation... so if we all who own MANUAL XM's EXCEPT 2.5 TD owners oerder one, we should be on a winner...

Its funny Ken, at CXM this weekend I was JUST told that that part is a common break point!!

Id order one too for me S1 24v XM... so count me in too colin!!

Hi Colin,

I would be interested in one of these, although I don't fancy the idea of aluminium and would prefer stainless steel or solid brass construction.

Yes please Ken :D I'll pm my address to you. I don't think it'll even need a brass bush if I make them from 316 stainless - should pivot quite nicely on the original pin (I'm assuming that the original pin is case hardened as a cage roller bearing is running on it - if not I'll be introducing bronze bushes so's not to wear the pin out ;) )

clutch cable "quadrant" update

Post by colinxm » Thu Sep 30, 2010 12:35 pm

Hi all, I've managed to find my old clutch cable to use as a pattern for the quadrant, I've done the programming so all being well I'll get some produced from stainless 316 at the weekend for those still interested. I'll put up some pics when completed.
