As title posting spotted on
E-BAY has a BIN of £950 with no Tax or MOT also note the worn 'Alacantra/Suede' material on the drivers seat bolster !
(For Peter, Okay it's not an 2.1 Estate but obviously a manual being a 2.5 TD, BUT it is sporting a suffix of 'YBL' )

Bloody dear at £950. I would be expecting a years MOT, minor issues (dot matrix, leccy windows not all worjing, and non working sunroof), some tax, and a car that has been cleaned.

Isn't that where the car's engine is wired into the mains and is heated up ages before you start the engine?

No idea what the aux heater in question actually is. It could be a cheap little heater that plugs into the cigar lighter, something more elaborate for arctic zones that plug into the mains, or a webasto unit that is hooked up to the engine cooling system and has a diesel burning heat exchanger. I've never seen one.

To be fair it's got OK miles on it and it's buy-it-now price may be sitting above a 500 reserve.
Sometimes if the proposition is exactly what someone is looking for the b-i-n gurantees the sale
whilst others would haggle for a lot less were it a normal press ad. Having watched values of Xm's
for years now I totally agree the 950 is very high for what's being offered here with no TAX/MOT
and issues including the usual Xm duff window but a leaky waterpump isn't so appealing.
With an MOT at least it may start commanding this kind of value but as it is it should be nearer
that 500...

At least a couple of XMs in this condition, and if you buy them right you can make a start at tidying them up with the change.
