I'll have to break my green'un!

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Yep, but there's only one plip (I'm fairly sure it works, but will check). Are you near, because I'm not keen on taking them all off myself.
I'm afraid I'm not near being in Surrey. Let me know if you do take them off, its fairly straightforward to get them off & there's some instructions in the self help section under Removing door lock barrels and ignition switch. You need to turn the key in the ignition in order to get the barrel off.

Getting fed up of lugging all my stuff around with me not being able to lock the car so would really appreciate having a set of keys that work.

Hi Ash

If the leather is original Mk2 black I would be interested in the door cards and front seats.
Would also be quite happy to join a working party in Mere helping remove the bits that have been listed.
Could also move some of the requested bits to North Hampshire if that made it easier for people to collect.

Hi John.
There's a good set of door cards and two leather front seats. The driver's side is a bit scuffed but there are no tears or rips.

I'm trying to find the time to post some pictures.

Cheers

I'm going to try and take some bits off this weekend. I'm also somewhere near most days so if anyone wants to come down to get anything let me know. My email is e4andy@hotmail.com and phone is 07855 429922.
Happy to post bits at cost.

BTW, the door I'd fancy (if I end up sticking with the car) is the NSF and that's the mirror I'd like too!
The headlight panel on mine has a total split on the osf corner but could pass OK but a decent one
here would make the appearance so much better; same for the front bumper really - I could make
do though saving decent parts off a broken car makes a whole load of sense if removal and collection
works out gto be straightforward. :?

If still available, are teh front wings any good? My driver's-side one especially needs replacing as mine is dented, and has been subject of a dodgy re-spray and the laquer has gone white on the top edge of the wing.

As far as I'm aware, they are a bolt-on fitting (can someone confirm?)

Andrew, the NSF door is good, (I think the silver trim is a bit cloudy) and the mirror is OK. Not terribly confident about getting it off though, after my feeble attempt with the 8mm spanner!

Hi boyse7en. The wings are pretty good. Might be a tiny bit of rust at the bottom but nothing structural. I've almost unbolted them both but can't seem to find the lower fittings. Anyone help? Do I have to remove the linings? Once I've got them off I'll be able to assess the condition better.

Yep, there is a bolt low down in the pile of sediment that collects between the bottom edge of the wing and the car shell.
