and can see their charms! Problem I have now is Citroen saturation and something finally has to give
It's a MANUAL green N plate 2.1 TD VSX showing IIRC 140k miles (will confirm asap).
It has been off the road a year after I bought it and the previous owner had work done to get it MOT'd
but didn't use it and let it lapse though I've driven it and it's a good well sorted car. There lies the problem!
I managed to slide it off the road in the wilds of Wales and in trying to extract the car from the light
hedge and ditch managed to burn the clutch out. The engine runs fine and it has a good soft ride but
the car now needs a new clutch fitting and the front bumper reattached properly - the plastic riveted
brackets have been torn off the bumper and one lower indicator is broken. There is a snap across the
small thickness of the nosecone on the offside and the nearside mirror got broken on it's mounting.
The rest is fine and in good health though there appeared to be a small leak on the nearside front possibly
under the accumulator/FDV. There's the usual Xm sunroof not working and the car has stood untouched for
about 8 months or so and has attracted a bit of airborne algae so may not be a prize oilpainting to look
at currently but it's a fine car just needing some DIY time!
Pictures taken when I bought it:

I MAY HAVE BEEN IN A POSITION TO DELIVER IT BUT SOME BASTARD HAS STOLEN MY CAR TRANSPORTER TRAILER
(pictured above) WHICH HAD X2 CARS ATTACHED TO IT - An Activa and mys sister's s1 XM!!
TBH, I'm losing the willpower to continue...

I've renewed the OSR tail light on the tailgate so that looks fine. To make a FULL pernickety makeover, the
car would probably look better for getting hold of a front bumper as an easy quick fix, nearside door and
mirror and an un-cracked nosecone from the 2.5 being broken by Andrew in Mere though if minor wrinkles
don't trouble you I can see it being an immediate going concern once the clutch is sorted on it - something
I believe you're now a dab hand at sorting!? Tyres and exhaust are fine and the ABS seems to work, I just
didn't have any grip where it took it's excursion.

As far as a value goes it owes me in the region of £400 but I'd be happy to get anything near £300 as it is.
I feel this is fair for the £/square foot of straight useful s2 estate and I really don't want to consider weighing
it in or ebaying it and watching those thieves capitalise on my worsening circumstances!!
