S1.5 1993 2.1 SED Turbo MANUAL For Sale (On E-Bay)

This one looked in great shape cosmetically, but it was not even a bargain to start with. 2 things:

1/airlock developing in a matter of minutes, could be anything from a silly perished hose, to a full pump overhaul.

2/LHM tank empty, owner mentioned "there could be a small LHM leak but nothing visible". This could be a huge bill in the worst case.

So I stayed away -couldn't drive it back home anyway as I did with the one from Poole! And as funny i't d be to have 2 identical cars at home (bare the sunroof), I decided I want an ECU'd one of these!!!

I'm sure it'll make someone very happy, with few work if lucky. And if this someone prefers one of these, but with a sunroof, they can email me and we swap -I don't like sunroofs!

I never even noticed NO sunroof!! If I had known that, Id considered having a go!

I HATE sunroofs too! One reason for my preference to Series 2 Xantias in SX Spec... God knows why they put a sunroof in Xantia Exclusives with Air Con!

I definitely would..I really hate sunroofs because they pinch headroom.

I was quite interested in this car but don't need the additional aggro just at the moment, but where did it say no sunroof, the pictures show one....are we talking the same car, the SED in Ilkley?

interestingly, in my white car with manual seats, you sit higher than in the green car with leccie seats.

I looked closely Will, and surely I cannot see a roof!!

Or its very well sealed up!! But Im sure too, there isn't one...

It doesn't actually say if there is one or not... there should be, but were they available special order without one?? Ive seen a RHD White V6 12v Si manual on a H plate with NO sunroof.

Don't be daft, 'course it has a sunroof. Only Xm's I've seen without are foreign registered or late s2's.

I could see the sunroof. All UK spec XM had sunroof as standard until 1998.
