All you can do is take comfort in the fact that yout passenger and yourself fared as 'well' as it appears to have done
although it can't be nice incurring injury to them, even a scratch is unwelcome - hope they get sorted asap. Although
it mustn't feel like it at the time the car is always a secondary consideration.
You can thank your guardian angels and luck you're both OK(ish) but also fate I guess, as you could've been driving your
beloved 1990 one! A sacrificial Xantia is my winter transport for these eventualities - I recall my CX GTi Turbo2 moving
sideways 6 feet totally out of control momentarily and before I could fully comprehend the situation it caught a patch
of sunlit tarmac and was on it's way again but it could have been far worse. Luck of the draw sometimes.
With a risk of sounding mercenary, it seems the only decent panel left on the car is the OSF wing - don't fancy selling it!!

It's particularly galling for me that I have my nice s2 VSX manual estate that is likely to be weighed in imminently. If
you'd been interested and on this side of the water I'd have offered to trailer it to you as a replacement.
