Citroen XM 2.1TD Estate reg.08/93

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Citroen XM 2.1TD Estate reg.08/93

Citroen XM 2.1TD Estate reg.08/93, white, 145,000 miles, towbar, MOT end of May 2011

I’ve had a rear suspension unit fixed and the rear height adjuster replaced but now I have a hydraulics leak somewhere else and the front of the car is going up and down like a yoyo, albeit a slow yoyo. I don’t have the facilities or the expertise to fix her so she’s going to have to go :( . Up until this episode the car was running well. She was on a private plate so I have had that transferred but not bothered fitting new plates.
The car isn’t on ebay. I’ve had help from this club both from the technical information and the members so feel this is a good place to start.
I’m in Wakefield, West Yorkshire not far from the M1 Woolley Edge services.
Is there any interest in my old girl?

That would depend on how much you're looking for £?

I'll make enquiries on your behalf. :)

Hi Gruff.

Would it make it up to Central Scotland, Stirling or Glasgow area?

I appreciate the enquiry Bob but if she would make it up to Scotland I wouldn't be getting rid of her. I would not be happy driving her around the block right now.

Oh well looking for miracles I suppose! I need a car for a few weeks to let me do some major work on mine, mainly a lot of welding and some engine and clutch stuff so thought yours would fill the bill, like fix them one at a time, one in the drive and one in the car park. I have no way of trailering it up at present but will look around. I hate to see these XM's getting scrapped! But I don't have any space at my house for any of them.
Thanks Gruff, hope it finds a good home. :D
