. Up until this episode the car was running well. She was on a private plate so I have had that transferred but not bothered fitting new plates. The car isn’t on ebay. I’ve had help from this club both from the technical information and the members so feel this is a good place to start.

I need a car for a few weeks to let me do some major work on mine, mainly a lot of welding and some engine and clutch stuff so thought yours would fill the bill, like fix them one at a time, one in the drive and one in the car park. I have no way of trailering it up at present but will look around. I hate to see these XM's getting scrapped! But I don't have any space at my house for any of them.
