Mind, one key feature of David's blue V6 - it's a S1!! Much nicer!

Re: Xantia Activa £1 starting price
I can't see it finishing at £1.20 somehow and had feared the Puggerisers pushing it over £400odd
though I'm surprised a 2.0iTCT engine only sold for £50 yesterday - don't say anything
,
I need one and planned to bid but missed the auction close!! There was that Gretna silver one
last week only had one bidder for £150 too.
I'll try and see this car asap before the auction finishes/bidding raises the price. Funds and space
may limit me. Incidentally, have you seen the other green Activa and another v6 Exclusive.
So many temptations...

No as yet andrew, but if you werent going to as you said you wernt going to, i would have a go at saving her...
I wont bid against you, so you can save another thats fine.. I have really got too much here at the moment, hence the tempery storage bit

Re: Xantia Activa £1 starting price
I thought you couldn't get on with the seats in a Xantia TE? And unless you convert them,
being an Exclusive means they'll be leather too...
Mind, it has a satisfyingly menacing growl, has a brilliant autobox and really doesn't
have the drink problem you'd expect for a 3.0 v6; I'm not just imagining it!! Never
wants to go above 2k revs unless you want it too.

Re: Xantia Activa £1 starting price
I'm willing to overlook flatter, nastier leather-covered seating given the fact that nothing is going to beat the comfort of my Sx
And I'm genuinely intrigued as to why the V6 gets so much praise. Only today I was speaking with Stuart at Brodie Engineering who explained he's bought and sold at least two V6s in the last month, and he sounded absolutely smitten with them. I had him down as one of the if-it-ain't-a-D-it's-crap club but he was genuinely enthusiastic and told me I'd love one. I'm sure I would.
Also, learn something new every day... I thought they were 2.5 litre, not 3.0 litre!
