Hi All.
I masqueraded as Boris on Club-XM but really I've been Featch for the last 20 or so years - don't ask why!
I'd like to say thanks for all the effort folk are putting in I really appreciate it.

I just added a few (rough) sections, will refine the name and granularity of them later when I get a bit more time, but post away in them and everything will be kept even if they're organised
Having a mad day at work unfortunately

Nothing untoward against norrie or previous admin persons, but it is good to see a Member of admin who WILL be present more often, I was often frustrated by off topic threads, which I had contributed to myself, but could do nothing about..
I think with this being a FRESH board, that topics SHOULD be kept ON Topic, and if one starts going off, a stop or re positioning of that topic should be made..
The old board did start getting messy, to me at least..

Well, when we get this all sorted I think it would be prudent to have a few additional admin / moderators who can keep on top of that kind of thing also.
Like you say, the biggest problem with Club-XM is the absentee landlord status of the admin (not Norrie, he did what he could with the limited access to the server he had). I intend to 1. Be never far from the site on a daily basis, and 2. Give people emergency contact details, 3. Get others on board who can carry out server related tasks should something happen in my absence.
Reminds me, I must replace the UPS on my server farm at home, it died a couple of months (or was it years?) back, and I wouldn't like any wee power blips to destabalise the site...

We have all our servers in work on UPS's!! and have saved us twice too!!
Im never far away either, I get on in my lunch break, and at tea breaks, and can get on anytime at weekends, either at home or at my parents..
