How many left?

In q4 2007 there were 2500 XM left licenced for road use on DVLA records. By Q4 2010 that is down to 1044 cars left on the road.

Trouble is that its all a little rough looking data wise. Spelling mistakes and no doubt that there are some autos chucked into the non auto section. Still, its a shocker that theres only a smidge over 1000 on the road. Certainly a very prestige vehicle getting.

hopefully the rate at which they dissapear will slow down now, prices seem to be on the up aswell, given that most tidy ones hover around the £900 mark as an average is nice, worth enough to be worth saving now but not so much they are a stretch to buy.

AndMCit also has one on the road, and for years, one of the Press Manderin 24v cars has been on the road too... So I still think the data could be out a bit, or really is correct...

I don't think the data can be out, it's the DVLA register of cars taxed and Sorn.

In 2007 there were 2500 XM with about 600 disapearing in the next year. the rate of attrition seems to have slowed to 400 per year, but seems fairly constant.

I've done my bit this year...there is now one more on the road that didn't exist on either list for the last seven years....


I might get round to the other one soon...
