Sheddy 2.1.

Today I've been to SantaPod in my newly acquired but slightly sheddy 2.1SD and was more than a little surprised when a passenger in the car I was parking next to showed interest in in my car. It transpires his Father had a Series 1 Xm a while ago. He was impressed by the lack of rust and reasonable mileage, and was amazed when I said I had just recommissioned it after 7 years off the road.

It's the Cobalt one in this thread, Peter. Bought with blown head gasket and turned out to be scrapped...it now lives another life..

Looks allright that, the body seems sound, well done for saving it - are you going to keep the cobwebs under the bonnet?

The under-bonnet cobwebs have gone, but here are some clinging to the rear lights..I ought to wash it and get cracking on it.
