Lovely 2.0si

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Don't listen to him Dean... I agree to get the XM bought but don't sell the Activa whatever you do...

I'm sure SWMBO would be happy on consideration of some domestic work - new bathroom perhaps?

Hi Guys,
Just to let you know I have obtained the RP number from the seller that is 4760, which from the Club XM calculator gives a production date of 19 November 1989 - just pipped you at the post Robert!!
There is a high reserve apparently as the seller had no idea what it was worth. Don't worry, I am not bidding myself on the car, which is now up to £848 and there are seven bidders involved! Apparently there are also nearly 100 watchers.
It will be very interesting to see what it goes for.
With regards,
Matthew T.

Surely if he had no idea he would have set the reserve low, not high.

I wish I knew now what the RP number was of my white one, it must have been an early car as it had a red badge.

Looks good and going for a very high price considering its time off the road and lack of test.

The mileage and engine is the clincher here, low miles attracts big money regardless of the fact its a dog mechanicaly or not and a lot of people who collect them and dont frequent forums like the simple engines and manual boxes for obvious reasons, plus its a rare colour.

I think the seller expected the car would fetch a good price Will, hence the high reserve to avoid giving it away, just in case the bidding was slack!! My two 1990 vintage V6 12vs have RPs in the low 4900s with only one week between the production dates and only the slightly earlier car has a red steering wheel badge. With regards, Matthew T.

Interesting indeed.

The gold stripe has to go!! These are fairly simple. But the 2.1 SD I have is even simpler. No ABS either.
