Lovely 2.0si

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

You would have thought it might have been offered to the highest bidder, as the price of around £900 seemed fairly generous. It was a shame there were no last-minute bids, particularly as I suspect the reserve was £1,000 - may be lower this time! Anyone on the Forum still interested? With regards, Matthew T. PS. I agree about the gold stripe Robert.

Maybe the seller is confident of the cars worth, after all they are a trader.

I'm surprised they haven't bothered to MOT it though.

MOT and a bit of use would do the car the world of good.

I think £900 is a good price to reach, being off the road and with the original rear tyres it needs a full set at least i would think, plus a service and if its such a gem spend £40 and put a years ticket on it hey.

Gold strip is a no no but the car itself looks lovely.

Nearly £1400 and the seller still doesnt think he has a high enough price...............this is reaching an almost reasonable amount of money

Auction format certainly does get people into the bidding mood and they get 'auction fever' - next step with mine is to auction it with a 99p start if it doesn't sell.

There's a mighty 80 watchers on my Xantia that's on auction ATM. Then again, that's probably most people on the FCF...!

so long as its sat around for years untouched and has no MOT it should sell well.
