Evening Chaps,

Just wondering if anyone has got a RHS (Driver's Side) Rear Quarter Window for a Series 2 XM?

They either breed very small car thieves in the fens or he was hoping to syphon by releasing the fuel flap from the inside.

think u be lucky to get one they are glued in so well i think.
ive got one but i doubt ill get it out at all. no idea what id get it out with either.

Just use a hammer, then bag up all the bits and post them on...

I knew that there was going to be this sort of replies...!

A friend attempted to take it out of our breaker and he nearly got it out but it broke just near the end - he always uses a cheese wire to cut the bond (same as CX rear windows etc).

I do know of a couple of other S2 Scrappers near us here but it would be great if someone already has one off of the car! Otherwise he'll have to get the cheese wire out and fingers crossed he can do it.

Hi Franklin

I have a few recovered somewhere but not yet cut out.
They have the remenants of the steel frame around them.
Much easier to use the cheesewire on a small segment of frame held in a vice.
At present all the XM glass is obtainable and the fixed panels are a lot cheaper than I expected.

A friend of mine bought an early V6 12v for spares and as I recall the small rear triangular glass fell out, so they can't be that well fixed!! With regards, Matthew T.
