As I remember from that XM design book with the great pictures the bonded glass is part of the structural integrity of the built XM.

In view of this revelation, hope you don't go and find the car all crumpled and folded up like an old crisp packet then Franklin....

All bonded glass is structural. Glass has a much higher torsional rigidity than steel.CitroJim wrote:
