Breaking my 2,1td s2 estate :-(

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Breaking my 2,1td s2 estate :-(

Post by colinxm » Thu Aug 11, 2011 6:10 am

Hi all, with a heavy heart I'm going to have to say goodbye to my xm.

If anyone wants anything then please be quick as it's off to the breakers next week. It's got a Bosch mechanical pump fitted (rebuilt not too long ago) and a full leather interior (s1) including electric armrest. please note that this is a non-hydractive car ;-)

I should also mention that postal costs for heavier items may be quite high from Norway.

Cheers, Colinxm

Is this a temporary departure from Xm ownership Colin?

Hi Paul, I'll get onto it as soon as I've finished work, do you want just the mechanism or the complete unit with the cushion (leather) on top ?

Hi Robert, I think it's the end of the road for me unless another td estate that's in as good a condition as my car was turns up at the right price, I don't think there's much chance of that happening though... I'll still lurk on here though, maybe I'll be able to afford a C6 one day :-)

Paul, for you I'll even throw in the switch and the loom :D

I'll let you know the damage as soon as I've weighed it and got a price from the post office.

Breaking a 2.1 that's sacrilege - I get the distinct feeling that mine might be heading the same way :(
