Amdcit has been found...
Well, some of his cars have made an appearance on the "autoshite" forum.

I'm more than a little nonplussed at the idea of a lessor giving strangers free run of a tenant's holdings. Bones would be broken if anyone did that to my shed.

A6TVA, Andrew's (or one of them) Activa is in one of the pictures so it's definitely his stash..
Yes Adam, I agree, bad on the farmer to give access like that. I bel;ive Andrew has lost stuff in the past and now it's easy to see why..
A6TVA was on the road not so long ago, now it looks like it's been there for years...

Re: Amdcit has been found...
I was amazed to see these pictures - but as mentioned above, it was strange that the farmer let a complete strange see the cars AND take pictures.
We certainly wouldn't want people nosing around our barns...

Re: Amdcit has been found...
I would be very upset if the same happened with my storage unit.
I am sure Andrew will be appalled.
Unfortunately if you rent rather than own life can sometimes get difficult in dealings with landlords.
Shifting elsewhere at short notice could be a disaster to organise.
Default on payment and your property can be seized and sold to recover costs.
So you may have to put up with things rather than insist on your full rights.

Re: Amdcit has been found...
If it was me, given the problems ANDMCIT has had, I would ask for that thread to be pulled and ask the farmer to not allow people into the barn. Some doors might not go amiss.
It's not really the thread posters fault, he just thought it would be an interesting topic and is unaware of the issues.
Andy could do with getting some back onto the road though.

Re: Amdcit has been found...
It's ANDMCIT!!
I can understand the autoshite poster's views and in the past would likely of
said the same things about the aging hoarde of dead and dying cars - however,
unfortunately, they were stuffed in there any shape as an adhoc measure*
to store them when their original (better) barn was going to be knocked
down and personal events/circumstances have been difficult since then.
* broke my leg whilst clearing the old place and was lucky to save anything.
I realise sadly now the atmosphere is far more aggressive than the previous
nearby place and many are probably now too far gone - the sea air won't
be anything like where some are well inland and things last far better.
It's easy to cast judgment without being in full possession of the facts or
circumstances such the farmer not permitting me there after 8:00pm and
it impractical to physically be there and do any spannering on weekends due
to the place being knee deep with nosy bastards with cameras and horses.
So when can I physically spend the time doing anything with my 9 - 5 job?
The cars are now a liability and a source of frustration and now it appears,
an embarrassment. I have another place miles inland with 60 odd cars which
are faring better in storage where i can do work on them.
Personal circumstances haven't really improved lately and I've reached the
point of calling everything a day and the lot may just get weighed in - it's
killed my enthusiasm watching this lot get too much and out of control -
when you have the energy/inclination anything is possible and a lot of this
stuff was randomly earmarked for hobby/retirement projects and were all
mostly saved from being scrapped when I took them on in the first place.
I resent the invasion of privacy and the farmer being so inconsiderate about
my personal matters. Heyho - sometimes life is (-expletive removed-).
All the best, Andrew
