Watchers (unlike pets) dont always get prizes, shame really as it seemed like fate the car i wanted in the right colour at the right price just sat there waiting for the taking and i couldnt have it hope the new owner likes it.

Sorry to hear that Dean as sounds like this XM will be leaving this Island and residing in France.

Shame really as it is the lowest mileage S1 V6 here! Not any more...!

I am now officially XM-less! As previously mentioned, my XM sold on eBay to an XM Enthusiast from France. The chap moved to France and set up a B&B in the "La Cambe" Region and has got a couple of XMs and fancied adding a V6 to his collection. On Thursday, my XM would have travelled a grand total of 410 miles over roughly 7 hours. I am very pleased to report that the chap arrived back at France with no troubles and judging by the feedback he left "if only all transaction were like this one absolutley first class in all respect" I gather he likes the car. I suppose it's a bit of a shame being the lowest mileage Series 1 V6 but at least it's gone to a good home. There was three things IMO that let it down - the colour (dirty, dingy green), the interior (not leather) and that it was a Cat C. Oh, and the fact is wasn't a 24v!

I will no doubt return to XM ownership one day, but it will probably only be for a S1 24v. Then again I'd rather have a CX GTi Turbo 2...
