I expect an explanation from the proponents of the theory that Mk.1s are a better bet on the corrosion front than Mk. 2s !

it's the second rusty as hell one I've seen - that one is pretty bad - wonder if the strut tops are OK?

Pretty sure this one sold on ebay a while back after an extended period off the road, in a hedge, seems sitting around has killed it and the new owner has called it a day perhaps?
