Alloy wheel bolts

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Alloy wheel bolts

Post by Dieselman » Fri Nov 25, 2011 6:52 pm

Does anyone have a set flat washer alloy wheel bolts to suit V6-24v or early exclusive wheels.

The wheel bolts are exactly the same on all the early series one alloys Will and just out of interest do you plan to put 24v wheels on one of your cars? With regards, Matthew T.

A nice wheel design indeed. I really like these, and have them on my estates.

There are some after market compatible wheel bolts out there if you need to go down that route.

Blimeyand unbelievably it gets worse.

It was. I have picked up a set from Patrick, but unfortunately the car went to the crusher with the wheel bolts still on.

£100 for a set of bolts seems a bit heavy.

Thanks, great finds.

The Peugeot ones are no good, they are too short.

I actually have a spare set or two Will, but they are quite rusty, which tends to be a common problem as the original coating is only zinc plate I think. All the wheel nuts on my cars have been wire brushed and spray painted that I have found to be quite successful. Do let me know if you cannot get any better bolts elsewhere. Regards, Matthew T. PS. I had heard that Patrick recently sold a set of wheels!
