) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

If the leather refit includes complete Mk1 seats then the seat belt tensioners will be missing.
That would affect the airbag light and could be a MOT problem and reportable insurance issue.
Not sure that the changes add anything to the condition or value.

Actually, half a LBD for the significant other...
It's big, it's French, it's blue with beige leather and leaks green fluid...

It is possible to swop the seat bases over between series 1 and 2 seats. I have done this on a number of occasions. I'm wondering if it is possible to fit the pre-tensioners to series 1 bases, as swopping the wiring harnesses over for the seat adjustments is straight forward enough.

It was a good car this one, we bought it at six years old and had it for a further six years. Its no ball of fire but it is reasonable on fuel, the box was nice and smooth and the ride was excellent. It is nice to see someone has spent a bit of time doing a few things with the car, im not sure I like it but at least it had seen some attention. Well, with some additional extras anyway, not really mechanical ...
Ill be surprised if the seller gets anywhere near that price, we sold it around 2-3 years ago and it was in much better condition then, it went for £600. I know its not in as good condition as the seller makes out, its a bit dissapointing that they have added the leather and wheels but not done anything with the body rust. That is more important. It also lists its cambelt was done at 70-odd K, however this was many years ago and will now be very ovedue for a change, going on age.
I still miss this car and almost wish we still had it, it was a very faithful car. I hope it finds a good home, again!
Chris.

Only just picked this post up. Most of what could be said is already in this thread. So what did you think?

I would be interested in how you found the condition of this car. Did you buy it?

Sadly not for me. Rusty around the n/jacking points.
