1997 2.1 TD VSX Auto Estate For Sale Silver (On E-Bay)

As title listing ( R586 TWG ) spotted for sale on E-BAY with low miles (87K), long MOT and only three owners the seller should get a fair price for this one !

If it didn't have the Sluuuuuugomatic box, I sure Peter N would have been interested in this one even if though the reg. does not end in 'YBL'

I am selling my wifes car which I have owned for the last 8 years. It has genuine 87000 miles and has just flown through its mot after being maintained by my local garage through its life. The car is in excellent condition & is superbly comfortable with reliable diesel turbo engine. All singing all dancing with aircon/ cruise control all electric everything .Huge load carrying capability & hydraulic self levelling suspension make this a very desirable all round vehicle. Towbar with electrics are fitted. Recent new battery & suspension hydraulics. Fast becoming collectable I do not think you will find a better example. The only faults I know of are a very small shopping trolley dent & a few cosmetic scratches. Mechanically everything is fine but occasionally the ABS light comes on ( I suspect it is the wire to the front wheel sensor as it usually comes on after turning a tight turn) Any trial or inspection welcome . Note, albeit being a VSX with it being the later models (with the 'Wallpaper Style' velour trim) it does not have the head-lamp wash or the rear passenger air ducting (Which pass through the front door carcasses) to feed through to the 'B' pillars but it does have cruise control !

It did have one bid on of £400 when I spotted the listing & was on a 10 day listing as it stated '9d 17h 49m' to the end !

I wonder if it may appear For Sale again in the 'DISS' area in a month or twos time ?

At least we'll know where they have sourced it from (if that is the case) a bit like W193 PEF one

Thanks for looking at my advert. I bought this vehicle for my partner as a surprise. I know Citroens, having cut my teeth on DS's and CX's, not to forget numerous Xantias, the ride and features are celebrated, When I had the opportunity to buy an XM estate that was automatic in excellent condition having only covered 87,000 genuine miles, I jumped at the chance. I drove this vehicle back from Yorkshire and couldn't believe my good fortune trip computer informing me that at 70mph I was achieving 46 miles to the gallon, the engine sounds as it should and has impressive torque. Unfortunately the vehicle is just too big for her to manage (and park!!!!!!!!) ((and she just doesn't like it)). I would keep it and enjoy the Citroen technology but my drive is a one car drive and i have a company vehicle. This is the VSX model, has all the refinements i.e. remote central locking, power windows, electric seats (heated), air conditioning, cruise control, AM/FM Stereo, smoked windows, velour trim, towbar, etc, etc. All the extras are fully functional ( all the displays work), Citroen people will know the displays very rarely function correctly. The interior and exterior are clean and damage free, apart from one minor scrape under the near side front bumper, not visible from the roadside. As stated /\ , they certainly did 'Jump at the chance' as the previous seller only had it listed for less than 7 hr's when they pulled the listing

Note, the current listing states two previous owners (the same as it is was for sale/listed before) perhaps they've not even bothered to change the V5 document over to them ?

I wonder what they paid for it and what the reserve is on it ?
