http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-XM-VS ... 3377d75805

114k miles and currently on £204 no reserve.
CITROEN XM FOR SPARES OR REPAIR

My fathers old XM

This was his pride and joy until his failing health meant he could no longer drive

I inherited it last year and have kept it on the road, but as I work abroad it has done few miles in the last year or so.

I spent £200 on new tyres for it and their condition reflects the low usage (less than 300 miles on the front!)

At the last MOT it was pointed out that it needed a new exhaust and the £450 quote was more than I could justify (you could probably get one cheaper or do it yourself?)

the body work is in good condition with no rust, the hare a few scratches here and there and there are a few bits of trim missing (from memory)

Inside the dark grey cloth has aged well apart from a small hole in the drivers seat cover.

worst bits are

The air conditioning/ heater was getting very intermittent and would need attention

None of the electric windows seem to be working

exhaust is blowing a bit (not too bad though)

good news:

I think we have the original radio but not the code.

The engine always starts first time and runs fine, my father serviced it all the time so I'm not surprised.

Collection from Penarth (near to Cardiff)

although the car is taxed there is no mot. unless you have an appointment with a garage to carry out the mot you may be braking the law driving on the road.

Please check you are covered to drive as I can not advise on the law
Looks good - shame it's not a manual as it's just down the road from me! Save a nice car anyone?

As the seller got messed around by someone from Anglesey (Anyone of the forum) , Paul's from there but I would not think he'd mess anyone around though :?
