Re: feeling brave?
No thank you.
Gut feeling says it has money pit written all over it:
- outside 'a few years'
- rotten lower half as early 70's Cits really know how to
- engine potentially fused into one big lump as it's a 'non runner'
- anyone's guess about the completeness of everything
although it has to be said the glass front end pieces are worth £2k+ to people Europeanising a yank import

Re: feeling brave?
it's a spares car but I reckon it has perhaps 3-4K of usable bits on it - so must be worth £1500 all day long as a breaker.

Re: feeling brave?
Quite a lot of work required before it (ever?) will look as good as this M reg beauty I snapped in Harrogate a couple of months ago.

No doubt its a big hole just waiting for you to fill with cash but they are a lovely looking car. Worth £1500 all day long though.

Re: feeling brave?
SM engine with carbs mated to PRV manual gearbox in RHD XM would make a nice XM. Engine is short, would probably enable access to primary chain in situ and the carbs sit low so would probably fit under bonnet just like PRV. Would need some thinking about engine mounts, bell housing, exhaust downpipes. There's a project for someone!
