No idea who the Scot is.

You missed an excellent car. Only once did it fail to proceed with a failed ignition amplifier module. The exhaust manifold was cracked on it as well. I think thats the height of any real trouble from it apart from routine maintenance.

It was quite economical too. 31-33mpg on average.

I really do regret not buying it though . To rock up to a rally a say it's only got 17K on the clock, would not get tiring!

But not to have anything really catastrophic go wrong proves it's a good one...and interesting for me to know too.
At least it would be great to see it at a rally one day maybe.

I bought one of my XMs at 240,000, it was still going quite happily when I sold it at 292,000 and the interior was as good as most of the others. I don't know what they make the standard interiors from but they don't half wear well.

I'm just mulling over what could have been!!! But too true. I think I could have gone stir crazy trying to keep it looking imaculate

I love my SED and am very happy with it. So no regrets really.
I'm more glad it went to a good home and not trashed.
But I would love to see it in the flesh, so to speak, one day.
