Best of luck finding an XM. Which series and engine are you ideally after?
I really did like the V6 Xantia Russ, however, I had know about this HDi Exclusive for two years and once I got an idea that it might be coming up for sale I just had to get it. Not enough room here for 11 cars so one had to move out unfortunately. However, I do really like the HDi Xantia, its a superb car and this one is in fantastic condition with low miles and has been well pampered. It is the perfect spec in my opinion, electric and heated everything with leather, cd changer etc, handy estate body and a HDi engine, the ideal daily. Its nice to have a Xantia which does good fuel economy

However my Activa is staying, I did have the most out of character thought and decided to put that up for sale, but I have came to my senses now, its staying!
My Xm search will have to wait until my C5 is gone, so Im trying not to look at XMs for sale as I don't want to end up with another car just yet
As for series and spec, I'm very undecided. I have always liked S2s but after having the Prestige I have got the taste for S1s now. So perhaps high on my list would be an S1 in either base or mid spec (I like the early cloth seats) with a 2.1TD engine or most likely a 2.0 TCT. Ideally a manual but I've driven a few of each and I dont mind either way.
In S2 I'd like to try a 2.5TD if I could find a very tidy one. They are few and far between so probably a TCT but I could be persuaded by a late 24v V6 auto. So, thats just about all of the range im interested in then

So who knows
I guess it really depends on what I like at the time

Chris.
