Well chaps, I am very much loving the XM experience. So relaxing. The bad thing is....now I'd like another one! A TCT to keep my speed monster side happy. It's a contrary thought though as the reason I wanted an XM in the first place was to "quieten down

" my driving. To that end it has been an entirely successful venture. But the thought of the XM ride comfort mixed with stupendous torque and speed had got me drooling ( this is usually the point at which someone says "get a 2.5"

but I like the petrol idea....)
Anyway, back to the point- whilst I was in the supermarket car park (of all places- parked far away from the shopping trolly mobs) I decided to have a quick look under the XM to see the condition of the tyre carrier. Not only did it look fairly robust (a bit of surface rust but nothing structural), but I noticed that I have another Wobbly Web for a spare rather than a steel wheel!
No, admittedly it's hardly the most momentous XM news, but it certainly brightened up my day.
