Re: Xantia
The seats in the crazy tartan of the early VSX's are indestructible
and the most heavy wearing I've ever seen in a car. I have them
in various Xantiae in all the different flavours of red green and blue.
I actually prefer them over leather.
I don't bother with pictures of any of them I'm afraid.
The early 16v's are on SORN but runners requiring modest work
after I moved on to Activae and then V6's but I must say I love
Tre earlier s1's best.
I have another 16v which I believe is the same early engine in flat
burgundy non metallic (odd for a VSX!?) and alacantara (spelling?)
which I really like too though it's not a sinker.
In fact I've managed to keep home of a few early Xantiae mostly as
VSX's though I did weigh one in last month.
The gold metallic is very smart and for a while I had a VSX 2.0i auto
in this colour. Alas again no pictures but DickieG on FCF has plenty
online of his no doubt!

You want photos?
My Activa:

My old original sinker that started it all:

My old 2.1 Estate (A car I still miss):

Xantias look good in Champagne Andrew... A real shame it was not a more popular colour.

Re: Xantia
My personal preference for Xantia (which is pretty weak, really), is ht eMk2 when the badge moved into the grille. An all round sharper looking car and it had headlamps that actually illuminated the road.
My Father bought the dealers demonstrator 1.9VSX and ran it for many years, 1995-2008.
