Re: Xantia
[quote Xantias look good in Champagne Andrew... A real shame it was not a more popular colour.[/quote]
I agree Jim. Champagne suits them really well.
A chap the year above me at school, his Dad bought a K/L reg one in Champagne brand new. Must have been one of the first ones sold in Cheltenham. Not sure if it was a VSX though. Must of made an impression, cos I still like them in that colour.

Re: Xantia
There is a very nice early Xantia in Champagne around here, its on an L reg, I'm sure its a 1.8 LX. It is in very good condition, which makes a change! Usually Xantias around here are beaten up and very rough riding.

Re: Xantia
I'm not having a pop at Xantias or Xantia owners. I like my Xantia. I often tell folk that the Xantia is the best made Citroen... I couldn't drive one daily now though. I tried it last year with a 1.9TD. Great car, but I wanted to drive a XM more.

Mind you, if you're lucky to have both...best of both worlds.

Re: Xantia
Good pics there Chris. Your old White one looked a fantastic car. To be insured at 18 on an XM.
They do suit white..as long as they have the black trim. Otherwise I think they look like an aerodynamic wedding cake!

Re: Xantia
I have just said pretty much the same thing on a black vs coloured coded bumper pole on the FCF
I did like that XM, we got it when it was 6 years old. Yes, no one else had such a cool car to drive about in
I miss all the XMs we have had, apart from the rough 1999 VSX. Really should have kept the low miler SX but you cant keep them forever.
