XM SED Manual.. This I DO want!!!

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

But it's a manual :(

Despite that I like it a lot. XMs look good in sliver...

That's not a standard cruise. That joystick says that and something to be aware of as it's a declarable modification and some insurers can be a bit squiffy about retro-fitted cruise for safety reasons...

And what's a retro fit PDC?

The only sort of PDC I know of is a Primary Domain Controller and unless it's a very early Multimedia I can't see it needing one of those!

And I suppose for Woseley, not an outrageous price either...

Now, if it was an auto...

It says clearly in the listing retro fit cruise..

Jim, this ole girl will MATCH hdi economy you know! The early 2.1 Mechanical Lucas and Bosch Cars with manual box's really ARE amazing on fuel!!

That reinforces my belief that the old Lucas mechanical pump is the most economical of the lot Paul. I reckon they run better too.

It's not for any empty reason that I like and respect Lucas pumps and as a bonus they're a heck of a lot easier to fix when they leak...

Yea, even advanced as my 2.1 is, she was still sipping fuel lightly, so I think with a bit of a retrading on the pump she should improove, as you heard before...

Im happy to use the Lucas till to goes POP.. Ive just not got time to much about with Veggie oil etc, so if she will give HDi economy, which they do then Lucas for now will do..

IIRC my SED had a small weep in the throttle spindle, where it goes into the pump top..

If you only ever feed a Lucas clean, dry (i.e. no water) diesel then they will go on for ever Paul. They only go pop if you run them on veg. The only real problem they suffer is leaks.

Lovely and easy to sort on a Lucas. Get a seal kit and you can even do the job in-situ with care :D

You can't do that on a Bosch!

Well Paul, if you've got it that bad ?

F***ing buy IT !

Before someone else does (As I know a friend who probably will) once they know about it (If the strut top's are okay)

This one IS a HYBRID as it has a MK2 Front bumper with headlamp wash (as UK spec. MK1/1.5's never had them) !
So do they actually work ? Also note the clear/white wing indicator repeaters (Normal spec. was amber) !

.
Also NOT forgetting the all important tailblazer which is worth @ least £100

I'd guess that it WILL smell of tobacco judging by the crap to the O/S of the after market cruise control stick !

Jim, PDC = Parking Distance Control (which to normal folk means Reversing Sensor's) !

Compared with others advertised recently that does seem a reasonable price, certainly looks a nice car. You don't have to convince Jim of the 2.1s economy Paul, he was the founder member of the '2.1 appreciation society' and I seconded :D Its better on fuel than the 2.2 Hdi but not quite as good as the 2.0. and smoother at low revs than either of them.

Ah peter.. you haven't used a hdi in a xantia though.. i suspect they are lighter then the 406s too.. certainly lighterthen C5s...

the 2;1 is rubbish on fuel in later epic equpit cars though.. its only the early mechanical ones with no Cats etc..

Xmx .. i can only dream.. ive no F****** money to buy it.. let alone space!Im getting to see the K reg sd i bought early this year from the lakes on Friday.. finally moving it to a slightly closer place.. So i can do an assessment on that one then..
