Selling off one (or bits

) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

Hi,
Owing to a bout of stupidity; I find myself in need of a lock-set; specifically the two door locks, and the ignition barrel....and the key(s), obviously
Anyone have a set, surplus to requirements ?
Thanks in advance
Justin

Hi Justin
PM me with details of your car and your location.
Most important questions are:
Details of actual problem.
Ignition switch type : manufacturer name - on silver face plate;
early Mk1 - 2 black plugs (long & short wires), 1 grey plug;
late Mk1/Mk2 - 1 black plug, 1 grey plug, 1 brown plug (all long wires).
Number of keys needed and type.
Do you want existing keys matched?
John

From what I know the existing key was sheard off in the drivers door when it was frozen during the cold spell a few weeks ago. What I am not sure about is if the original key will be needed to remove the ignition barrel. Both parts of the key are present however it was sheared off flush with the door lock
