Mk2 2.1 td vsx manual hatch

Selling off one (or bits :o) of your XM collection, or perhaps searching for those elusive headlight washer covers? This is the place to do it.

No way  The EPIC is a fine pump and the ESOS valves are not too hard to fix actually. Certainly no reason to fit a Bosch...

And the 2.1 engine is lovely... Bob's runs like a Swiss watch...

I never drive in town thankfully. 38mpg from the C4 is excellent! How much better is it than the PSA engined C4? I doubt my sister is getting anywhere near that from her PSA 1.6 C4.

Lucas mechanical is the daddy 2.1 Pump. Nice and compact, makes glow plug changes a doddle! ;)

Yea, I praise that on my 2.1 SED. (But not the pump itself). The XUD engine, in both 2.1 and 1.9's were both designed for Lucas pumps originally.. of course then they fitted bosch in the height of popularity and people then dont know that earlyer on, when lucas was fitted there was actually no issues getting to the plug behind the pump

I must say that I have been impressed by the 38MPG from the C4, considering it is a 1.6 16v petrol engine that likes the revs... Suffice to say I've not been particular "eco-driving" either...

The PSA and the BMW/PSA engine are chalk and cheese. I'd definitely not go back. More powerful, better sound, better economy, not asking for a sixth gear. Everything's just so much better. :D

Having cars with the Lucas and Bosch mechanical pumps, I much prefer the power delivery of the Lucas unit, it makes driving the car so much easier.

 Nice bit of topic drift we've done here!

C4?! Well known to be associated with the boy racer, loud music blaring, large spoiler and graphics liking folk on this forum, hence I've got one.

However I prefer the upmarket boy racer look, so went for the Loeb limited edition... ;)

Did you have topic drift on here before I came into the fold or was it always like this? I'm just wondering if I accidentally imported the condition from the FCF which as most of you know suffers terribly - the admins and mods seem powerless to stop it as they're often the worst offenders

Sorry. On-topic again. Bob, £250 is a bargain. Paul you know you need to...

Thanks,
